GRANT PARK NORTH GARAGE
Originally built in 1953, the Grant Park North Garage sits on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street below Grant Park. The facility can house 1,850 cars with about 830,000 square feet of space. In 1999, the existing garage was demolished to the foundation level, a new foundation was constructed over the old foundation and the garage was rebuilt with 2 levels of underground parking and a top level that supports portions of Michigan Avenue and Millennium Park.

GRANT PARK SOUTH GARAGE
Located just to the south of the Art Institute of Chicago, the
Grant Park South Garage is located along South Michigan Avenue
between Jackson Boulevard and Van Buren Street. Originally built in
1963, the garage has approximately 520,800 square feet of parking
space and 1,350 parking spaces. In 2000, the garage was closed for
rehabilitation and reconstruction.

EAST MONROE STREET GARAGE
The largest of the four garages is the East Monroe Street Garage which has 3,850 spaces and 1.47 million square feet available for vehicle parking. Built in 1974, the garage has served as a cornerstone for downtown visitors to the Grant and Millennium Parks as well as the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The East Monroe Street Garage will undergo a full rehabilitation that will be completed by 2012.

MILLENNIUM PARK GARAGE
The newest of the four garages is the Millennium Park Garage. Located directly under Millennium Park, this facility has 2,126 spaces and 1.0 million square feet of parking space. The facility was opened in 2001 and serves as an essential destination for downtown patrons of all types.
